It is a working embargo in the Red Sea. On 31 July the Houthi spokesperson Yahya posted on social media. He said the group is consolidating its “blockade for blockade” approach. Under the maritime embargo on Saudi Arabia, eight Saudi oil tankers had to change course. They returned to their departure ports. Yahya added that the blockade continues.
