Cinema 4D Hands Artists the Chores: MCP Lets Claude and ChatGPT Work Inside the Scene

Maxon announced built-in Model Context Protocol support for Cinema 4D on 30 September 2026. The new Cinema 4D MCP server lets artists use natural-language instructions to direct Claude, ChatGPT or Codex AI assistants securely inside Cinema 4D workflows. The design keeps artists in control. AI assistants work interactively so artists can review, refine and iterate on the results as they go. CEO David McGavran said the idea is simple: artists retain control while handing off any tasks they consider a chore.
